A Tribute to ABBA is a tribute album of ABBA songs played on a Heavy Metal style. Several hard rock and heavy metal bands participate on a somewhat different tribute album, given the fact that most of the original versions of the songs were considered mainstream hits on a pop/rock style made on the seventies and eighties.
It was released on April 2, 2001 by German record label Nuclear Blast Records.
The compilation was also released in Japan under the different title of ABBAMetal: A Tribute To ABBA.
