Abbey Dore

Abbey Dore is a village and parish in Herefordshire, England, at grid reference SO386305, famous for its 12th century Cistercian Abbey, expanded in the 13th century [1], Dore Abbey [2].

The village is situated in the beautiful Golden Valley, Herefordshire.

Abbey Dore Court has large gardens open to the public in spring and summer.

Abbeydore was a station on the Great Western Railway branch line linking Pontrilas and Hay-on-Wye.
