Aja (born Barbara Holder on July 14, 1963 in Tampa, Florida, U.S.) is an American exotic dancer and porn star. She is sometimes credited as Lucia Luciano.
Aja also works as a director of pornographic films and a fitness trainer.

Growing up, Aja was a self-described "army brat", traveling with her family from Portland, Maine to Germany. Aja eventually settled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Aja was introduced to stripping by a female friend. Aja took her stage name from a Steely Dan album called "Aja". (The proper pronunciation is similar to the word "Asia".) Aja's mentor was Sharon Mitchell.
Aja was married to John Derringer. The coupled moved to California, where Aja began performing in pornographic films. Her first film, made in 1988, was called in Wild in the Woods, which starred Scott Irish and Randy West. Her then-husband Derringer was the penetrating partner in all of her anal sex scenes.
Aja gave birth to two children during her marriage to Derringer. Aja and Derringer later divorced, and Aja has not performed in anal sex scenes since then. Aja left on her first hiatus from pornographic films in 1992, and returned to stripping. Since then, Aja has worked in pornographic films, both as a performer and behind the camera. Aja eventually retired as a stripper, and in 1997, she started a pornographic production company called Golden Orchid Productions.
In 2000, Aja and Golden Orchid acquired an adult video production company called Pleasure Dome Productions, of which Aja became owner and producer.
In 2005, Aja stated that she is retired and living in Mexico.[citation needed]
