Alan John Morley MBE, English rugby union player, was born June 25, 1950. He played for Bristol and scored record numbers of tries throughout a long career that brought him 7 England caps. He was selected for the 1974 Lions tour (undefeated in South Africa) but didn't make the test side, having to compete with J.J. Williams, Billy Steele and Andy Irvine. The highlight of his international career was probably scoring a try on his international debut on June 3, 1972, against South Africa, (in South Africa), when an unfancied England side won 18-9.
