Alan Schofield is a former BBC producer and chief spokesman to UK Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott.[citation needed]
Schofield left his special adviser job for Prescott in May 2006 to become director of PR company Bell Pottinger[citation needed], around the time that Prescott was involved in a tabloid scandal over allegations he had an affair with one of his secretaries, Tracey Temple.
An article in the Mail on Sunday alleged that Temple had moved into a London flat with Schofield in order to be able to continue her relationship with Prescott. The article also states that Temple was able to conceal the affair from Schofield and the rest of Prescott's office.[citation needed] This article in no way relates to Alan Schofield currently resident in Cyprus.
