The 'All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 1971 was a Hurling competition won by Tipperary under the captaincy of Babs Keating regained the All-Ireland for the 22nd time. Tipperary beat Kilkenny by 5-17 to 5-14. The match was also remembered for Babs Keating's barefoot in the park routine[citation needed].Tipperary would not win another All-Ireland for eighteen years.[1][2].
