The All Japan Ju-Jitsu International Federation (abbreviated to AJJIF). is an association of traditional and combat Jujutsu styles. Despite the name the association originated in the US and has no office in Japan. [1]

AJJIF organization had 150 jujutsu and other martial arts affiliates from 50 countries in five continents. There are 222 AJJIF recognized jujutsu masters around the world. The AJJIF also register different styles and families of jujutsu. AJJIF is a registered as a Non-Profit Educational and Sports Organization in the United states. [1]
[edit] AJJIF symbol
The AJJIF symbol is a Chrysanthemum. Taken from an ancient Japanese family crest (mon or monsho in Japanese). The chrysanthemum represents nobility and purity and was known as one of the "four princes" among subjects of art. The chrysanthemums resemblance to the sun led it to be called "sun spirit". Warriors use the family crest for identification on the battlefield. During the Heian period it was popular with aristocracy and was close associated with the imperial line.
