"Allison" is an alternative rock single released by the American band Pixies, written and sung by the band's frontman Black Francis for the band's 1990 album Bossanova. The song is a tribute to Mose Allison, an American jazz and blues artist. The track references space and the universe; ideas commonly explored in Mose's work.

[edit] Music video

The little-seen video for "Allison" was apparently filmed at the Olympisch Stadion in Amsterdam. It features the band spread out on the empty stadium's field. A single hand-held camera pans between each of the members. The video is only 1:20 long.
