Ammerud is a part of Grorud in Oslo, Norway known for its large Le Corbusier style housing blocks.

Ammerud is also known for its high crime rates. Actually Ammerud and the Grorud borough is the area with the highest criminal activity both in Oslo and the rest of the country. This came out as a result of a research conducted by Norway's largest circulation newspaper, Verdens Gang in 2003.[1]
