Anadoras is a genus of catfishes (order Siluriformes) of the family Doradidae. There are three species A. grypus, A. regani, and A. weddellii.[1] This genus belongs in the subfamily Astrodoradinae.[2]
Anadoras species are distributed in South America. A. grypus is found in the Upper Amazon River basin.[3] A. regani inhabits the Amazon and Oyapock River basins.[4] A. weddellii originates from the Upper Mamoré, Paraguay, and Pilcomayo River basins.[5]
A. grypus reaches a length of 11.4 centimetres (4.5 in) SL.[3] A. regani grows up to 11.0 cm (4.3 in) SL.[4] A. weddellii has a maximum size of about 12.0 cm (4.7 in) TL.[5]
