Anatharu

Anatharu is a 2007 Kannada film directed by Kokilasadhu. The film stars Upendra, Darshan, Radhavi and Sanghavi. The film is a remake of the 2003 Tamil film Pithamagan.

Sathya (Darshan) tries to reform the uncivilised Rudra (Upendra) who is raised by a cemetery guard. But, he is strong-willed and does whatever is told by the person he trusts. He seldom talks but lets his fist do all the talking.

As Rudra begins to reform himself, Sathya is murdered by Mahadeva, a ganja dealer, for interfering in his business. Rudra, who had worked for Mahadeva, is upset and is out for revenge.
