Ander Garitano

Ander Garitano (born February 26, 1969 in Derio, Vizcaya Province) is a Basque footballer who is coach of Real Zaragoza.
Garitano began his career at Athletic Bilbao and established himself as a skilful left-footed attacking midfielder. He moved to Real Zaragoza in 1996 and played there until his retirement in 2002.
Since then, he has moved into coaching the youth teams of Real Zaragoza and has recently been appointed coach of the club, succeeding Víctor Fernández.
His debut as coach was the Copa del Rey - match against Racing Santander which his team lost 2:4.
On 22 January 2008, It was announced that Garitano had quit Real Zaragoza, quoting that he is not ready for the job.
