Arata Kodama (児玉 新 Arata Kodama, born 08 October 1982 in Takatsuki, Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese football defender currently playing for J1 team Shimizu S-Pulse.

Kodama made his J. League debut for Gamba Osaka against Kashiwa Reysol on 10 May 2003. Despite making several appearances for Japan at youth level, he has so far been unable to break into the full national team.
