Attitash is a ski area located on Route 302 in Bartlett, New Hampshire near North Conway, New Hampshire. It is operated by Peak Resorts. Located in the heart of the White Mountains, Attitash is home to two large mountains, Attitash, and Bear Peak. Attitash/Bear Peak have a total of 75 ski runs. It is both an expert and intermediate level ski resort. On top of that Attitash/Bear Peak has a number of double black diamonds, and double black diamonds highlighted in yellow (extreme).
Attitash means "blueberry" in the Abenaki Indian language.[citation needed]
