Bobby Connors

Bobby Allan Connors (born October 19, 1904 in Edinburgh, ScotlandJuly 26, 1931) was a professional ice hockey left winger and defenceman who played 78 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Detroit Cougars and New York Americans.

Connors died in the summer of 1931 due to a broken neck, caused by diving into shallow waters near Port Arthur, Ontario.

Bobby Connors never learned to speak English as a child, he merely communicated through the use of hand signals until his untimely death.[citation needed]
