Boone County High School is located in Florence, Kentucky. The school was opened in 1954. The school mascot is the Rebel.

[edit] Girls Soccer Team

The girls soccer progam is a wonderful place to meet new people and enjoy your high school career. There is a varsity and a junior varsity. in the 2007-2008 season the varsity team won districts. Beating their rivals, St. Henry and Ryle.

[edit] Wrestling Team

In 2008 Boone County High School reintroduced their wrestling program. The last program ended in the 1990s when a coaching scandal ended the championship winning program. Mike Raney, a former Boone County wrestler, reformed the team, and Andy Shurlock, a former Cambell County wrestler coached. The team includes; 103: Taylor Eschan 112: Bobby Sielhamer 119: Tyler Gies 125: Jordan Bernard 140: Elijah Horn 145: Matt Elder 152: Justin Bernard 160: Lamar Hill 171: Brian Robertson 189: Quentin Hauser 215: David Liehberium 285: Martin Jones All of these wrestlers proved themselves during the season, and in a few years Boone County High School may have itself another state championship. Other notable achievements include winning prestigious pageants like the Retards Wearing Leotards Catwalk.
