Colonsay No. 342 is a rural municipality in central Saskatchewan, Canada, east of Saskatoon. It is located in Census Division number 5. The rural area population of the RM has been declining over the past few years.

[1] This population is spread out over 6 townships which are each 6 miles by 6 miles in area, for a total RM area of 145,280 acres. Colonsay RM is administered by a reeve, 6 councillors and an administrator[2] who oversee health care, education, emergency services and local roads via a tax base.[3]
