- The name of this Taiwanese company is not related to that of the 1975 film, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
Cuckoo's Nest Studio is an animation studio based in Taiwan. The company is famous for their work on the Hanna-Barbera series, movies and specials of the late 1980s and early 1990s, as well as overseas production for Nelvana's Care Bears franchise, DiC Entertainment's Inspector Gadget and Disney's DuckTales.
It was founded by James Wang, also the founder of companion studio Wang Film Productions. [1]
