Dhital is a Nepalese surname. It has been interpreted evolution of Dhital surname comes as "Dhee" means excellency "Tal" means rhythm, so Dhital means someone who got a rhythm with excellency. The origin of Dhitals are considered to be from Jumla, a Far North Western District of Nepal but are scattered all over Nepal, including Gorkha, Dang, Kathmandu, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, Rupandehi.
The Dhital's Gotra is Kaushik, AKA ViswaMitra, a legendary Sage of Ancient Bhaarat Khanda (Indian Sub Continent).
