Eleanor Wachtel

Eleanor Wachtel, CM, is a Canadian writer and broadcaster.
She currently hosts the weekly literary show Writers and Company on CBC Radio One.
She has also been an editor of the feminist literary journal Room of One's Own, and a professor of Women's Studies at Simon Fraser University.
Three selections of her interviews have been published: Writers and Company, More Writers and Company, and Original Minds. She is also the co-author of A Feminist Guide To The Canadian Constitution, and the co-editor of Language In Her Eye.
In 2005, Wachtel was named a member of the Order of Canada. In 2007, she received an Honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) from Dalhousie University.
