Ellis Sharp
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ellis Sharp is an experimental British writer. He has had published five collections of short stories, and three novels (The Dump, Unbelievable Things and Walthamstow Central) all by independent publishers Zoilus Press. Known for his often surrealist style, Sharp's work is often littered with obscure literary and historical references. The left-wing slant and messages which pervade his work has seen him receive critical praise from publications such as Socialist Review. Sharp maintains a popular daily blog where he discusses a wide variety of issues such as politics, literature and popular culture.
In October 2007 his book Walthamstow Central, a satricial science fiction novel set in North-East London, was published by Zoilus Press.
