Energy Economics is a scientific journal published by North Holland. The journal publishes research papers concerned with the economic and econometric modelling and analysis of energy systems and issues. The journal was originally founded under the title Journal of Energy Finance and Development.[1] Energy Economics is included in the major indexes Current Contents, Enviro/Energyline Abstracts Plus, Environmental Abstracts, Fuel and Energy Abstracts, GEOBASE, Journal of Economic Literature, Public Affairs Information Service Bulletin, RePEc, and the Social Sciences Citation Index . According to the 2007 edition of the Journal Citation Reports, its 2006 impact factor is 1.098 (about double of that of each of the previous 4 years), ranking it 43rd out of 175 in the Economics category in which it is listed.
