[edit] ESS AMT Professional 6 Series
The ESS Pro 6 series was a large loudspeaker made by the company ESS (ElectroStatic Sound) in Cupertino California. The speaker was very large many referred to it as "refrigerator" sized, the construction of the speaker was made of particle board that was 1 1/2" thick which made it's weight jump significantly. The design was different than previous variations of ESS speakers such as the AMT1 and AMT Rock Monitor series in that instead of one subwoofer there was two 12" ones and instead of one large Air Motion Transformer there were four of them in a 180 degree array, they looked to be on their side from previous designs.
