The College of Arts and Sciences at Florida International University, located in Miami, Florida in the United States is one of the university's 26 schools and colleges and was founded in 1965. The College of Arts and Sciences offers the largest number of bachelor's, master's, doctorate, and professional degrees than any other college or school at Florida International University.

Due to the college's large number of degree offerings, the College of Arts and Sciences is split into 26 separate departments. These departments are:

[edit] Facilities

The College of Arts and Sciences is housed in many of the university's buildings, such as Primera Casa, Deuxieme Maison, Owa Ehan, Viertes Haus, the Chemistry and Physics Building and the Management and Advanced Research Center. On the Biscayne Bay Campus, the Marine Biology Building houses the department of Biological Sciences and marine research. In Spring 2007, construction will begin on the Social Sciences building on the northeast side of campus.
