Jerry Moe is a Vice President / National Director of Children’s Programs at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California. He is also an advisory board member of the National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NaCoA). He is best known for his creation of a specialized program to treat children of alcoholics in 1978 in Redwood City, California[citation needed].
He is also an author, having written 6 books pertaining to alcohol addiction and its treatment. He has traveled and done workshops internationally to extend the availability of this treatment to children all over the world; including Russia, Japan, England, Italy, Iceland, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, and China.
He has been married to his wife, Michelle, since 1980. They have a son and twin daughters.
