John M. Weathersby, Jr. is the founder and executive director of the Open Source Software Institute (OSSI) [1], a U.S.-based non-profit organization whose mission is to promote adoption of open source software solutions within government IT environments.
John is a native of Indianola, MS and graduated from Indianola Academy in 1981 and continued his education at The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and received his degree there.
