SMS Emden

SMS Emden may refer to one of the following ships of the German Kaiserliche Marine and named after the town of Emden on the Ems River:
- SMS Emden (1906), a Dresden-class light cruiser commissioned in 1909. She sank or captured nearly thirty Allied merchant vessels during World War I, and was scuttled after the Battle of Cocos in 1914
- SMS Emden (1915), a Königsberg-class cruiser launched in 1915 and scuttled at Scapa Flow in 1919
